Ian Brown, C.A. was the Executive Vice president of The Alberta Stock Exchange from 1986 - 1995 before joining Raymond James Ltd. where he was a Senior Managing Director until 2005. Mr. Brown presently sits on several public and private boards, including Bonavista Energy Trust, Petrobank Energy and Resources Ltd, Genesis Land Development Corp, the Canadian Investor Protection Fund and Rising Sky Energy Ltd. He has served as a Director on a number of Boards including; the TSX Group from 2001 to 2006, Market Regulation Services Inc. from 2001 to 2005 and as Vice-Chairman of the Canadian Venture Exchange from 1999 to 2001. Mr. Brown obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1983, and has received a B.A. (Economics) and a B.Comm.
